Edinburgh Festival Fringe

creative

With the world’s largest arts festival well under way, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival is a great platform for new and emerging creative talent.

Many notable original shows premiered at the Fringe and it has helped establish the careers of many writers and performers, including Rowan Atkinson, Jo Brand, Billy Connolly, Ben Elton, Eddie Izzard, Stephen Fry and Tim Minchin to name a few. Nicholas Parsons attended the very first Fringe as a 23 year old in 1947 and still hosts his long-standing “Happy Hour” show into his 90s.

Creative Edinburgh

In 2018, 3,538 shows took place in 317 venues across Edinburgh. In terms of global ticket sales, it’s second only to the Olympics. As it’s very easy to be overwhelmed by the hefty programme, you can find 21 must see returning shows here.

Ending on 26 August, make sure you book your tickets here today to avoid disappointment. Make your Fringe!
